How come when i get a link from Photobucket to add a photo for my forum profile, it gets rejected? What's the max size for the photo?
-
Go with 128x128, That's pretty much what I always used. I'm unsure but I believe the maximum resolution is 200x200 for an avatar.
-
Yeah the dimensions of my avatar are exactly 128x128, and yet when i use the Direct link from Photobucket it says it's too big or it's not considered an avatar
-
That's pretty weird, Try hosting it on a different website such as imageshack.us.
-
Hmm, that's odd. Photobucket is where I'm hosting my avatar from as well and I've never had any major problems with it. Make sure your avatar isn't in a sub-album though, I recall having issues with that initially

Cause your url is wrong...

this is what i get:
The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile: - The avatar you have selected is either too large or not an avatar.
-
Then try resizing it.

There, that works. .png's are little extreme for a avatar with no translucence.
-
Nope =/ still doesn't work
-
Not sure what to say Haha. I used your avatar for like 5 minutes, worked fine.
All I did was upload that image I linked and it set it fine.
