Hello Ladies and Gentleman, "this is a WIP map i've been working on, I just sayin.." I started this back in 2012 due to Kraid not wanting to finish it. So I felt obligated to get it done. It was my favorite map in Nightfire and I wanted to show you guys what I can do with hammer :). At first I couldn't find decent enough textures for the map so I stopped working on it back in 2013 but one rainy morning I noticed the snowblind file just sitting there on my desktop and figured "What the hell....I WANNA BE TOP." So I decided to give it another go with "no ruber" After countless hours in sdk and Custom textures from yours truly "LUCHADOR" I am at the point on releasing a few pictures to wet your appetite. So sit back, relax and enjoy!

I am not entirely sure when I will be able to release this map due to constantly working 24/7 but I will do my best to get it out as soon as possible without rushing so you have a great expierence. I am trying my best to capture the mood of the orginal map.

I really like the look of picture 4!

It's getting better each time i see screenshots of the map.
Lightning has improved a lot in the outside area since the last version.
Now, the wine cellar needs some big wine barrels.

I only played Nightfire once but I recognized the area instantly. Nice work man!

Update: I have made major improvements to Snowblind. Stay tuned for some new previews coming this week :D.

Alright everyone. I apologize for my unessasary outburst on the forums a few days ago. It was uncalled for and I feel like an idiot. I don't want any sympathy because I don't deserve it. First thing is first. I have decided to finish Snowblind and I know i said several times I was going to cancel it but I was highly upset due to certian circumstances and said a lot of irrational nonsense to people. I want you all to be able to enjoy my map. I am tired of being a nuisance everywhere i go. It's getting old and I am tired of getting in trouble. All I want is to be on good terms with everyone. So my outbursts and irrational tantrums stop today. I know there are certian people here that want nothing to do with me and that's fine. All I want is to give you all my gift. I worked to damn hard on this map to let it go to waste. I appericate all the help I was given on this project. Big thanks to Kraid, and Luchador. They deserve big appaulse. I will be posting new screen shoots tonight. Since the last time i updated this thread there has been a bunch of new things done to the map and it makes the previous screenshots look like garbage.

I reckon we've all had our moments where we lost it and said some things we wished we hadn't, and I've always had the highest respect for those who hold their hand up, apologies and admit when they're wrong. I for one hope you'll stick around, god knows this mod needs people like you and from what I have seen this map looks to be one of the best third party maps to date... But I shall wait until I finished building my new PC before playing this as currently I can only run GE:S in really low settings :( :( :(

Sorry for telling you all that a teaser was coming, and yes i know this is almost a month old. I hit a couple of snags on this project but don't worry all kinks have been fixed and it won't be long now. Sorry to keep you all waiting.

I have good news :D. Snowblind is almost complete, i banged out a shit ton of hours today and got a major work done on it. Testing will be commencing shortly. If you want to be part of the testing let me know. I can't believe this map is almost ready. A few weeks ago i thought i would never get it done nor was i impressed on how it was looking but that all has changed. I never have been so dedicated on this project or anything like this in all my life. I enjoyed doing this map. Big thanks to Luchador and Kraid for their part in it. This map would not of be as good without them. I do hope when this is released that you all enjoy it.
