Your Favorite Map?

What is your favorite map in GE:S

I would say mine would have to be Cradle because i love the design of it and in the film it was a big ending i think so i love it for that reason, also its funny when you blow people off the sides lol XD

So what are yours?

I played a much older version of the bunker for GE:S and let me tell you from what was being worked on then, it was something that they'd get their pants sued off for.

That was a map from the community, not from the official mod. That being said, check out the _classic maps that were included in Beta 1.

I think that i'd have to say my favourite map is still facility from the N64 days. Although a close second is Backzone and Cradle.

On N64 I would have said Egyptian for sure, but the Cradle in GE Source is so badass that I like playing it the best. It a little tough to get guns there, but just a little. Everything about the new Egyptian is really badass also, so it's a close call for me. Caves is 3rd on my list.

YOU LIKE CAVES!!!!!!!!!???!  To me, Caves is concidered one of the more unpopular maps in the mod. I find that the devs did a great job with making it flow and all, but I still don't like how there isn't much cover and the layout is confusing.

And no, I'm not complaining about the devs work, I'm complaining about Rare's work :/

Facility and Cradle currently rape every other map.

Complex, Egyptian and Library Classic are also good to play as a change.

The Caves are actually quite atmospheric too, and I like playing there. Hell, I think I like all the maps.  :P

Yeah I have to admit that the atmosphere in Caves is kickass...one of the reasons I like it. Cover is overrated anyways.

I'm still not certain what my favorite official map is, but my two favorite alpha 1.1 maps were maps I worked on.
Knives_Only and tw_flashpoint.

I'd have to go with (long hard thinking here) Complex, with Cradle as a close 2nd.  Definitely enjoy all of the maps, Caves being the least enjoyable, but still a cool map.

I'd have to say for the little time I played beta I had the most fun on cradle, control, and facility. Cradle would go down as #1 in my book.
