I see it's already in development for Linux, how about MacOS?

You can run it through WINE, it works pretty well from what I've heard. http://wiki.geshl2.com/mac_installation

We have support for Linux servers, not to be confused with a playable installation of the game on Linux.

In the future, perhaps. We would need to upgrade to a newer version of the engine and we've been down that road before and it is a time consuming and painful journey.
