Log in as an administrator on Linux Server
« on: September 22, 2018, 08:19:27 pm »

Hi, I installed GESSERVER on an Ubuntu server.

My question is how can I add bots, to play against them?
How do I access the terminal?

Thanks in advance.

The easiest way to control your server would be to set rcon_password in the server.cfg file located in gesource/cfg to a strong, secure password.

Then input the same value for rcon_password in your client console when you connect to the server.  This can be enabled in advanced keyboard options.

Now you're free to enter server commands from your client!  Just precede them with "rcon".

For example, to add a bot, enter "rcon ge_bot" after setting up your remote console.

Hope this helps!
