Tried it once with Metroid 1.
Had the same issues like when a 3D TV tries to turn 2D Footage into 3D.

As far as i understand it, fixing all these issues is possible with that emulator, but requires a lot of customisation, literally adjusting the depth of each kind of tile in the game.
