Great multiplayer game. Didn't know it existed until the day it was released. Then took me 3 days to finally find a server that wasn't busy downloading GE_Source.  :]

Second, how do I delete this account and start over? The name was a joke and then a wrong button got pushed. I will delete my email account and let this "Bond, James Bond" gather cobwebs, if required to do so.

The problem is "Mangley's Sneaky Set", under weapons.  When creating an off-line server with bots using "Mangley's Sneaky Set" for a weapons choice, the game crashes only a few seconds into play.  A JPEG is attached showing a Windows problem with hl2.exe, stating, " A problem caused the program to stop working properly".

This is the only Custom Set for any "Weapons" I have noted that has demonstrated a prob.  I haven't checked all weapons options out, yet.

Computer is a year old laptop. Windows 10 [1607] Anniversary (Aug 2nd, 2016 release).  SDK Base 2007 was installed, then Local Files Verified.  -there were 4 corrupted files on the initial install of SDK Base 2007 that Steam reacquired the files for.  Chkdsk.exe was run, no probs.  Sfc.exe showed no probs, either.

Got a fix?  "Mangley's Sneaky Set", looks good.  The new Golden Eye is great.  The variability of the play options reminds me of the first Fallout game.

What game mode were you playing?

This is almost certainly going to be Hunting Knife related. For 5.0 we changed the Hunting Knife to be a weapon that people could pick up from weapon spawns but encountered a crash only very recently due to Man With The Golden Gun trying to add Golden Gun ammo to ammo crates that didn't exist because the Hunting Knife has no defined ammo type because it never needed one.

Not sure what you mean by game mode but I think I can guess.

I have never played any other GoldenEye game other than the release of about a week ago.  That is, GoldenEye_Source_v5.0_full.exe. I had never even heard of the game until this August. Glad I did.

Other than that, it is just me against bots with "Mangley's Sneaky Set" as weapons choice and any map. For a short time, "Mangley's Sneaky Set" would not even load and I would get the hl2.exe windows dialog box "Not Working" message.  Now, for some reason it runs for maybe 15 seconds and then crashes, as shown in the JPEG photo. Even if I just stand in one place and do nothing, the crash still happens in the same amount of time. I thot maybe it was running over the weapons box in front of the character, which was knives, but it still crashed in the same amount of time, even if I never moved, at all, or went around the box and never engaged it.  Not sure what is going on.

However, I just tested the game using a different "Scenario".  It was crashing on on "DrNoArmor" as a scenario so just switched to "Arsenal" for about a minute.  No crash in that short amount of time.  Didn't run over any boxes, either tho.  Switched back to "DrNoArmor" and the hl2.exe crash happened right on time, again.  Seems the combo for the crash MIGHT have something to do with "DrNoArmor" as a scenario AND using "Mangley's Sneaky Set" as weapons. I didn't switch maps but I don't think they matter with the crash. Again, it is just me against bots.

I'm only running the client, so haven't run into any problems with server admin stuff, yet.  :]

There is another bug I found with "Voice" in options, but I will put that in another post.  It's probably not related.

There's nothing we'll be able to do about it until we release a patch/update for the game though.
