reinstall graphics driver, choose custom, and then clean install.

XFire Overlay did crash every version of GE:S after Beta 4 at startup, if anyone's still using it despite being shut down, make sure it's not running.

This worked for me!
The installer failed to retrieve our decryption key
Try creating a shortcut to the installer and in the shortcut's properties set the "Target" to have this on the end:

Then run the shortcut.

Why? I don't fucking know lol
