Crash on Startup GE:S 5.0

are you running any monitoring applications like coretemp, msi afterburner, evga precision X, do you have geforce experience shadowplay / share enabled?

if yes to any of these turn them all off

Just GeForce Experience.
Turned off and still not working.

follow my post on adding launch options to source base 2007, and add "-w 800 -h 600" to the end so:

(use your path to gesource not mine)

-game "D:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gesource" -windowed -w 800 -h 600

also this is where you can achually use launch options inluding -novid -dxlevel ect.

you need to go to launch options of source base 2007 and add this:

-game "D:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gesource" -windowed

change the "d:\steam blah blah" to your steam directory ie "c:\Program files(x86)\steam" ect ect

then run source base 2007 and it will open the game in windowed mode.

ges is setup with a launcher for ease of use but it do not transfer launch options to the engine.
