Trippy LED panel (plus butt lamp)
« on: December 06, 2014, 07:22:38 pm »

Some of you may remember that I've been developing interactive LED light shows for quite a few years. I just finished up my latest project, a square LED panel with 324 addressable pixels. I wrote a program that allows you to load up video clips to play in the background, as well as display waveforms and EQ graphs. There are many other features that help make it very appealing to the eye.

Oh yeah, and I also made a Butt Lamp. For a few months I was the king of the search term Butt Lamp on google because of this. Then someone copied my idea and started selling it  >:(

Awesome stuff.  I still want to cover my ceiling with those reactive 320 LED strips

As someone currently starting my circuits education at engineering school, your stuff is really inspiring Bass!

You can make a basic analog light show with high/mid/band pass opamp configurations. You should have enough knowledge after your intro to circuits course :)

I believe you could do this with the Raspberry pi?

I did something similar with a BlinkyTape with inspiration/help from Basstronix.
