Game crashes on menu/startup

I had no mdmp file to go with unfortunately :/
Although, I have found a solution. Awkwardly enough, playing the game on a different Windows Session will work. I don't know what causes this but I guess I'll have to switch session every time I want to go for a GE:S match.

try adding "-dxlevel 9" to the command line parameters. You might have a corrupt registry entry for the game and this will clear it out.
