Our annual deficit is still far lower than our gdp. Also, it's not the job of successful people to fund the fuck ups of politicians. There are not even enough billionaires in the world to pay off that debt with their worth. Remember a billionaires worth doesn't mean just having money in the bank, it includes property, companies owned, etc. Someone else would have to buy those things to get money to pay debt. Small market for $100 Million mansions.
