Question about laptop AC Adapters

(1/2) > >>

namajnaG:
Hello guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now, I have a non-working AC Adapter here, I've been looking for this model on the internet but it's not displayed anywhere.

I am looking for a 3-pin PA-1121-01 6.3A for my friend's Asus D1500T laptop (Don't ask me to buy a new laptop because it's outdated, He doesn't have the money for this.)

My question would be, Since this particular model of PA-1121-01 is available nowhere on the internet, Would a different brand of AC Adapter with the same voltage and with a 3-pin 6.3A outlet work? (If I manage to find one.)

Enzo.Matrix:
Same voltage,  Amperage can be off a bit.

Kratos:
Yea, enzo is correct, as long its the same voltage, you should have no problems.

If you have a laptop that requires 9volt 3.5amps, you can get a 9volt 4amps, but not under 3.5amps

The laptop will take amps as much as it needs, but the voltage must be same.

Killermonkey is good at this i believe and may elaborate it more.

major:
Yeah just get same volts and try for amps, if not like said little higher shouldn't hurt.

Had a idiot friend who bought the wrong replacement charger. So would charge if it was idle, but once started gaming battery would drain like wasn't plugged in.

namajnaG:
Alright, I'll do that, Thanks a lot for the info guys!
