Dedicated Server Will Not Start

I am trying to set up a dedicated server for GE:S. I have the hldsupdatetool and HL2: Deathmatch installed in the necessary directories along with gesource. The gesource folder is in the same folder where hl2mp is as other guides have indicated. When I try to execute "srcds.exe -console -game gesource" the srcds console pops up and closes immediately. This happens regardless of whatever combination of options I type in before execution.

Also, will the Wiki be put back up online in the near future?

Hi,

I was having exactly the same problem as you. I worked out that GE:S needs the "orangebox" files from hldsupdatetool rather than "hl2mp" or "episode1".
