Will GE:S run on this computer?

You might be able to run on low with that card/cpu combo. It will be pushing it. A 800x600 maybe 1024x768 low graphics might be doable.

I used to run GE:S (Alpha/Beta 1) on Medium on a Pentium 4 3.2GHz with an ATI Radeon 9200 and 512MB ram
1280x1024
Average 30FPS
So you should most likely get away on low detail with a 45-ish framerate, I think your card is superior too.

That'd be great! I usually only get games to run at 30 or higher FPS anyways ;)

Thanks for the encouragement to get me not sad about my computer not being able to run much :)

Make sure to disable heatwave effects on explosions and dynamic lights on explosions in the advanced multiplayer options, too. (Options>Multiplayer>advanced options)
Adding -dxlevel 80 in the launch options of GES might also be a good idea.
(in steam, right-click on GES>properties>launch options)
