[Issue] Hl2.exe

SuperSonic:
Everytime I close GoldenEye: Source, I receive an error message stating:

hl2.exe has stopped working

Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...

After a few seconds it changes to:

hl2.exe has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the problem and notify you if a solution is available.

Is there a solution to this problem?

It's been a problem for a long time. Don't worry about it, just be sure to open task manager every once in a while to make sure the process is closed.

You'll know the process is closed when your Steam status switches back to Online.

Mine has started crashing as well, every time I quit Goldeneye Source I get "hl2.exe has stopped working and needs to close". But I actually prefer this crash because at least I know it's stopped and not running in the background, got really fed up with opening up Task Manager every time to make sure.
