Whats The Word...

I'd also like to pitch in:
The main purpose behind mod-making is the experience. Many of our developers decided to make this game in their free time because of their passion for development. This gave them experience far greater than that of a college graduate; they already had a working, incredibly popular game under their belt. Our development team has taken jobs at major game companies like EA as a result. We are a constantly evolving team of artists that recognize the value of legitimate passion. That said, many of our team members have also found their life paths. They simply can't offer the time and energy they used to.
I have been studying unreal script lately and have been toying with the idea of reincarnating the GoldenEye project. Having recently taken a full time job at Hawaii's hottest night club, I have time to kill without financial worry.
I want to revolutionize independent gaming, yet again.
V!NCENT:
That sounds like a massive undertaking (even if you can script everything you want to put in there), Bass.
Not to steal the GES thunder, but do you plan to differentiate from GES? And how? Or are you just not sure and looking for the next big project? :)

Sounded to me like you were talking about 'Single Player' basstronix, that would be a challenge for sure.
basstronix:
it's simply a future possibility. Now that I have time to dedicate again, I want to learn how to program a game. Why not continue the GoldenEye project on a new engine? Many indie developers these days stay in small groups and undertake large projects on their own, earning an indie budget and acceptance.
With the modern, streamlined game development process that has allowed this sort of indie development to occur has created a new genre of gaming. I want to take the benefits that this newfound interest in independent developers and create something everyone will remember.
A team of our numbers using current gen tools could make some seriously amazing shit if we actually put our minds to it.

To you and Mangely and killer monkey and probably others it sounded rude, but to me he wasn't like showing strong emotions from judging by the post. Everyone's thinking is different i guess :-)
Hell, at least he wasn't complaining like Flash2011 lol. remember monkey? and good job to you and the other devs who handled the situation professionaly!
Also, this is a free game that is non profit and developers commit their time and effort making it a terrific game. We all should just be patient in the meantime while the devs are working on it.
Thank goodness at least its playable! Give credit for that!
oh and lastly thank goodness this game isnt built from java like minecraft. What a horrible code to choose for that game!
