I dont really know where to start, so I will just give the story.
I have been friends with a kid name Sean Daly for 12 years now. Since '99 we where inseparable. We went to the same schools, and where considered family. He was a brother to me, closer to him than my own father. Each year his family would invite me over for Xmas, Bday, New years, thanks giving, etc. They did this because they know that my family is non-existant, and that my mother had passed away. Mrs Daly (seans mom) I looked at like my own mother. His father, I looked at as my other dad. I would always ask for advice, and was extremely appreciative that they took me in as another son. Literally. When my mother passed away, she had left me and my brother Derek, her Condo.
My brother had since, gotten married, and had a child, Jaxon Bornstein. My nephew. He then moved out of the Condo, and bought his own place. Since I pay a mortgage on the Condo my mother had left me, I asked Sean if he wanted to move in. Without hesitation, he agreed. We both knew each other too well. We had a trust that couldnt be broken. We knew we would make everything work out perfectly.
Well, we had used Seans bank account to pay the bills. I opened up my Mortgage, Comcast Cable, FPL(Power) and Home Owners Association statements, that came in the mail, and they all had a balance of the last three months (unpaid). I went to Sean, and was like hey, where did my $1200 (my half) go!? He said that he didnt know what I was talking about, and hung up the phone, saying he was too busy at work to talk about this. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and let it go until he got home later that day. Turns out, that He bought new rims for his Mustang, new tires, new steering assembly, and his dad an IPad for Xmas. Knowing that we where 3 months back on everything, I said how could you spend all MY money on materialistic things like those, as opposed to paying these bills! He said "Fuck you man, there is nothing your going to say or do to make me give you that money back, it was mine". I was in shock. I had all the reciepts in hand, showing exactly how much was mine. $1,240, to be exact. That was my half for the past three months. After he said that, he got up, walked towards the door, and slammed it shut, while he muttered something under his breath. I hadnt seen him the rest of that night. While I was at work, I had texted him asking whats going on, why are you giving me such an attitude, if you spent the money, just tell me, we (meaning you) can regain the money and catch up on the bills. I left work and went home. When I opened the door, everything was gone. The TV, My computer monitor, all the movies, he took everything, down to windex, and paper towels. So my best friend, and brother for 12 years, just robbed me for over $2000, and took my monitor and many other things. He even took my Xmas gift my brother (who is 24, and has a kid, mind you) got me. It was a $25 dollar gift certificate to the movies. It was all he could afford.
Sean was really the only "true" friend I had. Its unbelievable how money can change people. My dad asked why did he just take his shit, and split. I told him its because he spent all of my money, and his half, on himself; greedy bastard.
He literally took every dollar I had. I had to pawn my Iphone, to get fucking food for the past three days. So I am just hurt, more than pissed, about this whole scenario. He really fucked me bad. I am recieving letters about foreclosure, my power should be shut off in the next month. I had to drop out of school to grab a full time job, digging ditches, literally. What sucks the most is there is not a damn thing I can do about it. The money was in his bank account, and there is no way possible, to prove that any of those things taken, where mine. So I am typing this more to vent than anything. I dont have any family down in Florida. Everyone is North of me, in Boston Mass, and my only friend just robbed me for every penny I had. Thank god I had an Iphone worth 50 bucks at the local pawn shop to keep me fed for the past three days. However, that money is gone, and my father is in the hospital. So, I have some things on craigs list, and I am on the verge of drug dealing again. I cannot understand how my "brother" would leave me hanging like this. He knows this house is the only thing I have from my mother.
Just when I finally had settled down, had loads of money, my bills paid (so I thought) and had life by the balls. I lost it all, and not from my own doing, not a damn thing I can do. Even when I was down and depressed, I always looked at the brighter side of things and said that Hey, your still in school. Keep your head up. But that was taken too.
