GES website could use a nice portal design

See that image above? It would be nice if GES site got a portal page. You can display recent news in the center of the page with nice pics of newly added maps, characters or any new changes to the game itself. The forum is awesome, but that can act as the back end of the site for discussion.

I dont know, but when sites have portals, it seems to attractive to me. You can put a shoutout box so people can chat in realtime.

Ugh both of those websites make me want to puke.

Early 2000 web design should not be a model for 2010+ web design. Logical flow, modern code, and information minimization should be emphasized....

Walls of text and link farms should be burned...
