GES steam skin
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:45:34 pm »

hey all i was thinking the other day why isn't there a GES steam skin
i did a quick post on moddb tho i figure this is the best place to get ppl thinking about it n maybe one day make it happen

it would be so better than the basic ones n way cooler than anything else that I've seen am surprised there isn't one already

the mod no more room in hell released one themed around there mod so it can be done

i can see it now GES feel + logo, different bonds on the top or u could have ur choice of bond since ppl have there favorite bond

and maybe put classic bond cars u could have a DBS in there or any of the older cars like the DB4 i think it was from one of the older films ah too many cars to think about

Steam still supports skins after the UI update?

I don't think there's much demand for a GE:S Steam skin.

One man's meat is another man's poison, and when you consider how small the minority of people who actually use custom skins for Steam is, and then out of those minority of people who would specifically like a Bond / GE:S styled skin over some generic flashy skin that blends with their Windows 7 theme, you realise it would not be a worthwhile endevour.

It's not something that can just be quickly slapped together with images pulled from google and be called 'decent' by any standards.

I don't think there's much demand for a GE:S Steam skin.
only because no one knows about steam skins if more mods made a steam skin to go with there mod or if retail games did themes for steam or windows .
skins or themes for windows would be more popular like they are on consoles

i dont know how hard it is or how much time it takes
would just be great to have a goldeneye source steam skin
