You can be lazy if you like and just node the buildings and then all the footpaths.  :P

Will still take a while....

CCsaint10:
Yeah, I might  be complaining a little more than need be (glares at Major), but I will do something to make sure it works out fine. Although I guess I won't really have to worry about it for 4.1...I will make an update on multiple fronts for 4.2 for it. :)

Could we maybe get some footage of bot gameplay in a coming news post, like some gameplay or outtakes? That'd be awesome.
(or some footage of a possible training mode that was talked about and would maybe be included, if it has been worked on)

killermonkey:
Yes the next update will feature bots. Do note that I stopped coding them a couple months ago to focus on gameplay enhancements. As it stands now they are a great training tool, but not sufficient enough for solid human replacement. They hold up REALLY well in online play, you can't tell if they are a bot or a human in terms of latency and the like (unlike L4D...)

Once the gameplay enhancements are done I'll go back to bots to bring them to a playable state for at least deathmatch gameplay. I don't think we'll see them playing LALD competently in v4.2, but that can easily be addressed with a post-v4.2 server update to the python scripts!
