New Mode Idea

I have this idea for an assassination mode. Here is how you play.

Assassin: 1 person on either mi6 or Janus

The rest of the people

What we did, was turn off auto balance, and put it on YOLT mode, after the assassin is dead or the round ends, another player is the assassin, it won't get boring. I think it worked quite well, the other players really enjoyed it yesterday.
 
Bird and myself were playing this on the reedit server last night and he beat our asses senseless, 20-0. We did this several times, like about 15 rounds of it, and not once did it get boring.

I have tried creating similar modes (JAWS would be one super player versus everyone else). The issue I found was the damage invulnerability system makes it unfair for a group of players to attack on one target.

You still end up with issues with damage invulnerability after getting shot (The mode I had would increase the "super" players health depending on the number of players, on top of a speed boost and increase in damage).

Make him able to run faster and do twice as much damage :), i think that might work.

This reminds of Trouble in Terrorist Town, on Garry's Mod. No one knows who the assassins are and you want to survive. If you start killing anyone, people will think you are the assassin, and you will get shot. You have to be sneaky to kill people if you are the terrorist.

Maybe a similar thing could be implemented here without copying the original idea? Because just one person against the rest is boring. It will end too quick.

Because just one person against the rest is boring. It will end too quick.

My mode had however scored the kill against JAWS would respawn as JAWS and the fallen player would respawn as a normal player. It's really a big boss fight with all of the normal players trying to team up against the strong player. Points were given based on being JAWS and scoring kills, killing the JAWS player, or inflicting damage to the JAWS player.
