It's a shame this mod died, I only played on it once, I went on for the first time one day and there was someone else there, we were playing for 3 hours or so, it was so much fun. Unfortunately I never got that lucky again, in the end I just gave up , the servers are all gone now as well. Ah well, never mind.

Yeah the PD maps should be the only maps with this restriction.
PD had a mean server issue. Would crash servers after a short game time, Similar to beta1. So Kraid got permission to mod the maps for ge:s, but put a restriction on so would keep distribution down, and other mods couldn't use. Maps are great, shame can't play them on there own mod.

It's still possible to play 2 player with a friend though if you select "Create Server" option. I've just been running around on the mod today and thinking what a shame it's dead.
