[Issue] Game crashes instantly

My best advice is for him to redownload and reinstall the mod. Completely delete the gesource directory in "sourcemods".

The redownload is key because it is known that some installers flake out and a redownload always fixes the issue.

He's tried both the moddb download shown in the link in the OP and also the torrent from the official website. Neither are working for him.
