<to lazy for title> Remove Loadouts
« on: July 09, 2007, 03:26:54 pm »

Quick question i've got the events script up and running but i can't get the guns to stop spawning in game. I've done it before but as usual i've forgotten how to do it. Is it a simple command, some alterations to a txt document ??

Or just rename them in case you want to use them again quickly in the future. I put the number 1 in front of the map loadout name in all of them except Cradle and Facility Classic and Control, the three maps that have never crashed on me one single time.

The error occurs because the pointer that holds onto the object that is spawned is not being deleted from the list when the object has been destroyed (picked up by the user). So thus the list keeps getting bigger and crashes when its full. We have almost fixed this in the beta.

Oh ya, u definitely got to get that fixed. Other than the loadout thing which inhibits custom maps. ... to me this game is alot of fun just the way it is. I would definitely get that fixed so custom maps can be more fun. Other than that, I cant think of one thing I'd change. I've even gotten used to the crosshair dilemma :)

The rag doll and player deaths are the most fun that I've seen in any game. I've got one map called Hacienda where I let players' dead bodies fall through the roof (but not their weapons) and some things on the map I call "air lifts" that hoist players in the air to jump on the roof. I cant think of any game where a player getting shot and killed in the air is as funny and cool as in this one....Seeing the body in mid air get blown back by a shotgun blast in mid air and then watching all his weapons fly from his dead body is one of the most entertaining things to me about this game that I've seen in any fps game in a long time. And for some reason when I get shot and killed, on my screen it feels more real in this game than in Half Life 2 DM.

Sorry I hijacked the OP...but his question was adequately answered first  ;)

I dont know what rainbow 6 is . . .. so I'm gonna say No   ;)

The map doesn't really look right in this game. When I run it here there are cracks in three of the walls of the house that I dont see when I run it in half life deathmatch source, which is the game I originally made the map for. I think those cracks are causing an fps problem, but I'm not real sure and it's not worth fixing.

Anyway, Half Life Deathmatch Source is a remake of the original half life into the Source version. So it's  old school and new mixed together. You guys took an old game and Sourced it up too now that I think about it.

Just checked the thread i figured it out myself anyway. i've just been messing around adding the silver pp7 and gold pp7 to the loadouts.
To lazy for title, you got me summed up there.

Thanks for your feedback anyway.
