OK so Ive been spreading the word of GE:S on quake live recently
and already a few people have joined the GE:S community,
if you've been asking people to come play GE:s id like to know where ( what other source have you been telling people about it ) ,

if you haven't told anybody about GE:S , maybe you could start and show your efforts in this post   

good luck spreading the word ( your efforts wont go unnoticed )

And to keep them. Great thread idea. Yes, we did get 125,000 downloads, but we can retain a playerbase with spreading word efforts. So have at it community. Make us proud

It go to 59 downloads, but for some reason my Megaupload downloads have stopped being updated, three mates have downloaded something else I put up and it's still on zero downloads, so chances are the number is higher than 59.

Can't believe it, just went into my Megaupload account only to find it's been updated. The total number of downloads is at 65 now.

I know the owner of a retro video game store, Maybe I could plug GE:S there if he wants, Make some sort of poster or something like that.

I've shown around 15 of my RL friends GES. All of them got frustrated and quit (except for one who only plays if I play too) because it isn't like CoD. Feels bad man.

Sounds to me that you need better RL friends

Problem i find is all my mates really enjoy GES, but we only play it at LAN parties (where we play it all the time). Whatever we do, this mod will ALWAYS be better on LAN, and these players will never contribute to a community.

Haven't played in a while, but every time I'd step into CS:S gungame servers, I'd have this spray handy whenever I'd survive the end round.  Usually forced a good 20+ people in a full server to see the spray each time, and I'm estimating 15-ish people went on asking me how to install the mod over steam.
