OK, since splitscreen is of the tabel, I would still like some oldskool online controller matches, so is it possible to have USB-HID/DirectInput only servers? Like when you view the server list you see a gamepad icon. Also, (if implemented) filtering for gamepads would be nice.

Split the small playerbase up into an even smaller factions is a bad idea.

Do a LAN and force all the participants to use a pad.
Probably the only way to make sure everyone is using a pad.

Lan is a good idea, but what about now? I mean 15.000+ downloads  :o Fscking congrats on that BTW!  ;D
