Nah if you ask me, man, it's to piss people off into saying:
"Ahhh screw this i'm paying at least i wont have to wait any more.."

Some people are just so damn greedy and i hate it when sites do that i mean it used to be tolerable but now it's ridiculous.  I never submit to people who do that.. Trying to make you pay for their crap by tryin to piss you off.  Idiots.

Oh well it'll be their fault when their site visits, etc, drop.

Torrents would be a better idea i guess.
