New England in a oven this time of year
« on: July 09, 2010, 06:04:23 am »

Man, this is ballz. We are literally in a oven trying to escape the heat. In Rhode Island, as of now its  92% humidity and 74F. Its fucking 1:56am and its almost 80F WTF?

Idk, I have been thinking of wetting myself while sleeping, but the water will evaporate before it hits my skin.

The muggy feeling is annoying .You cant do shit. Cant play Goldeneye Source if its over 80F in your room and without an AC. My mom and brother have AC's running 24/7 and im the only person whos running a 10 year old window fan trying to survive in the heat.

No I don't want an AC. Why? 1st the electric bill will go up our asses. 2nd  If you stay in the AC for a long time, then you go out, you will feel MUCH more hotter. Right now, I am a used to the heat.

Plus, if anyone vacuums downstairs, the entire 2nd floor power goes out and I have to turn on my computer all over again.

Fuck Summer. Wheres my winter season! I could play Goldeneye Source out in -67f  weather with boxers on and no shirt and still be enjoying nailing you all!

I would hope so... 19°C is one away from optimal for me.

Hmmm, 80F => ~27°C?
It's 37°C (99F) here and ~40-45°C (~104-113F)... even by opening the windows, it's like opening an oven that was used for about a hour.

Still, I'm used to it and it doesn't affect me more than that.

Tell me if I'm wrong with Fahrenheit.

It's about 85-90F out(16%hum.), feels nice. At night about 55F. No air cond., no fan, and feels great. Gotta love the northwest :)

I can see that, it's usually hotter in cities than out in the country.

Here in Maine, it's been a balmy 93F with 90-100% humidity.

I'm so glad I have my 8 inch fan.

I am feeling the same way major. Love the northwest for that exact reason. It was 89 today with a nice little breeze here in Boise and its 60s here tonight as I am writing this. Don't need a fan or AC and driving in my car with the windows down is perfect. Aw, gotta love Oregon and Idaho. :)

Wouldn't that be a great revolution in farming?....
