I just got a Droid phone from Verizon. LOVE IT!

Going to be exchanging it for Droid X on the 15th (w00t for 30 day return policy)

I have seen an iPhone in action, never actually used one though, but I must say the Droid beats it hands down bar none. Video is 100% accurate to those that flock to Apple products... because they are Apple products. I don't support any one corporation 100%, I own Logitech, Microsoft, Motorola (now), Netgear, HP, Blackberry, etc etc. To limit your entire experience to one corporation is bound to lead you to (a) overpaying exorbitant prices and (b) getting sucked into their ethos and becoming a zombie (like said video).

My bros wife got one a week ago. The fucking Droid sound gets annoying after a while though.

I have a G1 (HTC Dream) and i rooted it and put Cyanogenmod in it and its sweet.

But yea the Droid is fucking faster than my phone, cuz i tested them and droid is faster. But lacks the numerical keyboard standalone. Like you have to press alt or FN key then hit the numbers. I already have the numbers separate which is a gift from heaven.

at least you can Alt Lock though, can't do that on blackberry (curve). caps lock to, you just hit left key then right key and it goes into lock. I am afraid to root it especially since I am going to exchange it soon, just gonna leave it vanilla for now. The Droid X might get a rooted 2.2 update though!

I never hear the droid noise I keep my phone on vibrate and shut that ass off.
