Respawning more flags to compensate for players only makes things worse. That means there's more flags and more people hitting each other with flags or (slappers). One flag is all that is needed. When I see everyone else with a flag, I feel like I need to get one too so I can fit in. That way I can run around, slap others, and get a few points on the board. To win in this game mode, all you have to do is grab a flag and hide in a room. Whoever does this the longest, wins the game.
Some of you may think my way of modifying this game mode would be lame. However, I think it would be acceptable as long as the radar didn't show the flag's position or the person carrying it (just like in the N64 Goldeneye). That way the person carrying the flag cannot be easily hunted down. The player would be forced to use the flag as his/her only defense since he/she cannot fire any weapons.
A few days back, I played this game mode with a few other guys in the facility. I held the flag while my team mates protected me (since the person carrying the flag cannot use a weapon). A person on the other team also held a flag, and his team protected him. My team held the flag in the facility's gas chamber room. When a person from the other team entered, he/she was quickly gunned down. It was then that I remember thinking that this game mode would be a lot more fun with one flag. If the other team had the flag, it would be their sole intentions of keeping and protecting their flag carrier. However, it would be the opposing team's intentions in finding the flag carrier and claiming the flag for their team. (Now bear in mind the only way to score points in this game mode is by carrying the flag. This isn't Capture the Flag it is Flag Tag.)
Now I just want to say I really enjoy playing this mod. I think the developers have done an excellent job improving throughout the years. However, I absolutely hate this game mode. It needs to be more like the original Living Daylights (Flag Tag) mode on the N64.
