Divideo Custom Weapon Sounds

Hey, not sure where to post this, but I think it would be a better sound for the DD44.  I made this with audacity and Native Instruments.

Super quiet and really distorted. It sounds kinda like a baseball bat hitting sheet metal.

Too bad I didn't have a damn Ballistics room and good recording equipment...I got an arsenal including and AK and .44 magnum...

Belive it or not, this is actually close to the original. Needs a better trail/echo though.

It is, and it does. Needs a volume boost as well.
Though no offense, but if I feel like using the original GE007 SFX, they're standing by in a folder already. (Or would download if I didn't have 'em.)

I really thought this sounded like a gun, not sheet metal.  And yea, it sounds similar to the DD44, but quite a bit different.  If it needs to be louder.. that isn't a problem.  In my opinion, this would be a better sound for the DD44

It's cute that he calls it better without hearing the opinions first :P Especially since the aftermath confirmed that is maybe not the case.

I went 12 rounds trying to emulate the original and decided to blend high quality elements to where it currently is. Low fidelity sux and this is a good mix. Considering beta 3, the official sound now is epic.
