Obviously I wouldn't know too much about the politicians in Deutschland but I can say easily that Christians do more good than evil. In the U.S. liberals like to protect terrorists and minorities to make sure they don't look "racist" and blame their own country for injustices. The current President is obsessed with this.
Not saying the Church is innocent at all but it appears you've only seen one side of the matter.

True Christians (or anyone who recognizes the One True God) will try not to force their will upon others.

You're right, sorry. But i got the impression it's always "cristian" politicans who start a campain against everything new they don't like.

Agreed. Comming from a christian, true ones do not force there religion upon others. They say that you find god when your ready, blah blah blah. But politicions are not true cristians, they are the most corrupt fuckers ever man! They always force the idea that they are christian for a vote man, they dont believe in shit AND idk if you noticed but i fucking HATE politics haha
