Rorin:
I have all the required files (Ie: source sdk base, source orange box base, and GES 3.1.4)
Everything is installed right, yet whenever i start the game. It loads up the valve logo. freezes, displays my desktop cursor, then goes to the loading screen. Where it then crashes.

my drivers are up to date, and have no problems with any other source mod or game. any ideas?

This is because you probably installed the patch, which only includes some of the content, but not all of it.

Make sure you have the FULL installer, not just the patch, the full installer can be downloaded here.

i had downloaded the full installer. So i downloaded the patch and ran that and now it works.  ;D

well i guess i have a new problem... gonna try a reinstall.

well i reinstalled and everything is working fine. TY for the help.
