From the looks of their recent advertising efforts I saw this one coming. Franky I think they finally got bought out by IGN/Gamespy/Evil Empires trying to control our gaming

Too bad. FileFront was neat, specially the pages dedicated to games, halflife.filefront.com and stuff.

Hm, the STALKER weapon pack in my signature still works.

But the actual download doesn't. It worked a little while ago, which is odd.

Wow. Filefront. Probably one of the greatest best-known filehosting companies I've ever seen (In terms of gaming). It was so easy to use, and was free to everyone.

Hopefully it'll come back at some point, but until then, everyone's going to have to find a new place to host all their stuff...

Apparently the original owners bought the site from Ziff Davis Media.
