I just want to ask Golden team.
I really want to know if Goldeneye Source was competitive,
because now it's not the really competitive, for me. : S
The problem that is that the gameplay are pretty easy, Am serious!
an aim user can easily kill you also Campers too!
Repawn kill was easy, heh peace of cake, = Free kill.
I know the team has made a lot of work for this legendary FPS ever. And am not
I n'offence not your job. I like to mod, but a little competition in the game will be his property.

GES isn't yet designed for organized competition. We had some expectation that involved clans (WNx) would give a shit, try to play it in a competitive environment, and help us make GES a competition-quality game.  But no clans did, so GES remains what Goldeneye originally was, a run-around-and-frag-your-friends game.

I don't know what defines a competitive game, but I find that if you're playing in a server with a low amount of people there is plenty of skill involved. I've mowed down countless people many times in a row because I can aim and they can't.

I am from Quebec too, but I think people dosen't have to search for hours to understand what the hell I'm saying. You just need to practice, that's all.

We do, we do. But with no one else willing to play competitive, we can't do shit. Some aren't ready, others want to chose which member they face, LTK is dead, and most just enjoy pub and nothing more. So we're doing our own shit between us. Sad.

A GE tourney would worth a try if there's enough interest (reply hint)...

I find GE:S to take a lot more skill - TO WIN - then most other games. I can be leader on TF2 board without much effort (be engie with a well placed sentry or a n00bed up HW guy). Our game is a different breed of skill, you have to use the weapon set, map, and aimer together with skill and a little twitchiness if you even want to think about placing on the round report with anyone of equal or greater skill then you.

Even then, even a n00b can place highly if they are on a good streak with the GG

Thought they won't make top-spot if a skilled player is around because he'll keep up in the frag race using lead until your luck runs out of bars, unless you manage to milk one inning through the whole round.

And really, is there anyone skilled enough to pull that off?

the only way it might be conceivably plausible depends on the difference in skill between the n00b and the skilled player.
