It's a nice place to hide, when the radar is off. You can get the others unnoticed because it's pitch dark in there.Last time I played there, I think I was the only one that ever set foot on that room.

EDIT: Here are the images of the torches I mentioned in a previous post, i.e. the ones that can get you killed in LTK
