[SOLVED] Can't launch the game

Hey everyone!

I can't launch the game, and I'm sure its because I don't have the SDK-base engine, but free steam users can't get that engine :/
SharpSh00tah's EDIT: Can someone give me HL2 for free ? Please do not ask or give any free software.

Picking up HL2:DM for $5 I say is well worth it. You then could play GE:S and all the other Mods for Source, well worth it.

Posting just to get a free copy of HL2 isn't a good first post either. But if you buy/get HL2, I'll see ya in game.

the difference is (lodle?) ASKED HIM if he wanted it. It was the developer who did the initiating, not the member. It is common courtesy. :)

The free version (video card special w/e) will not work with GE:S

Get HL2DM, it's asskickin cheap and will provide anything you need to run source mods.
Or get another source game you would like to own.
