They're so funny in GE:S!
One guy was ranting about doing poorly because his "graphics card sucked so badly that he didn't have a crosshair".

Another was freaking out that shots are 1HK in LTK.

One more asked, "Why is there a gun made of gold?  That doesn't make sense."

Not only hasn't the guy that said "Why is there a gun made of gold?  That doesn't make sense."  not played goldeneye but he probably hasn't seen a Bond film especially The man with the golden gun.

There is a lot of "newbies" but you shouldnt make them feel alienated enough to leave the game forever. the more playing the better and they might just warm up to it over time and become mature with age. Never know just something to think about :)

One thing I asked in Beta 1.1 times was if the guy who was playing with me (normally we had like to people on the most crowded servers  ::)) if he/she had played the original; if not, then I'd explain him some basic things to get his game going smoothly.

The larger this mod grows, the more players it will attract and many of those probably never heard of GoldenEye 007. Perhaps a little briefing on the "father" of this mod should be made in the wiki so that we don't get stupid questions and rants like the ones described above.

Yeah, it is funny to see people spazzing out about LTK. I've had people that were saying I've played the orifinal, but never LTK" and continue to spaz out about it.

The only thing that ticked me off last night was that I hopped in a MWGG server and people were playing it as it was deathmatch. I know that it's been talked about before, but still, after telling people to go after the man with the golden gun, i got responses like "Who's that? Where is he?"
