It wasn't illegal. The advertisement said it was legal. Oh, and you can't advertise illegal downloads. If it was illegal, the website would've been taken down, so therefore it's not and my post should not have been edited.

Yes, but Half-Life 2 is not free, and thus it is illegal to distribute it. The advertisement might be legal, but I don't want to be tied to anything like that. Especially since we use the Half-Life 2 SDK

Has anyone clicked the link? I assume it would be like any other "free" thing on the internet. Sign up for so-and-so service, then you get whatever they were offering, be it a iPod, a 360, or even Half-Life 2.
