Even something like a neighborhood with a bunch of lights would work fine. From your profile, you're from Canada?

Every year, my town lights up main street with over a million Christmas lights, draped down the front of every store. I'll try to get some video footage of it while driving down the street.

Well, it may not be much, but I could possibly get your a small town shot of the main street of where I live. Its nothing too huge, the population's about 800 or so. It could be a nice contrast from the bigger cities that you have listed.
