But, yeah, I'd say just remove the text, and it'll be perfect.

Use the layer fx to get more golden look into it.
Maybe a beveled border, some specularity and gradient.
Others then that, i like the style of it.

I prefer MisterSpigot's edit. It looks less complicated and the shine suits it well.
