ha guys just found goldeneye "so bad ass"  after not playing cs for a while I came back  so now i am going to host a  goldeneye server looking for any tips and admins, testers

I am getting cox biz. connect cost more but getting two static ip's server is a core2 6750 with 8gb ram and running the great and fun server 2008. network speed is only 10meg and 1up
This will be free and public. i will be hosting email and a web page, on web i might ask for donations and all who donate will receive a free email address and with enough time and donations get better network speed..

this is in the early stages of development.

any idea's would be appreciated

This is wayyyyy enough for a source game server, and a WAMP w/ mail... No need of more.

Play first, and then see what's the best. Saw countless of people coming on the board advertising for their server and then going back to CS, forgetting GES. The more you play, the more you'll be able to run a great server. Oh, and be creative :).

1mg up is only good enough for 4 people with out choking the connection

hmmm, checked. With 10 players, the server uses 0.5% of my 100mb connection...
