D5K AND MOONRAKER LASER

i was installin ge on my new computer and i saw that some d5k was bein instaleed . ditto 4 laser can u use them, how:

I don't know about the d5k, but the moonraker was included in the release as an easteregg. It can only be unlocked with a script.

Devs forgot to remove both d5k and moonraker while rushing the beta 1... So they are in. But unless a modification of the GES files, you cant use them. And the d5k is untextured.

Well if the D5K wasn't fully textured and probably didn't have the power and balance of it finished, as well as the Moonraker, it was just a huge overpowered gun.

I am still confused on how to unlock these weapons.  I have looked everywhere in the gesource folder and could not find anything.  I have tried to replace the map loadouts and using a command in the console with cheats enabled on my server but nothing would happen.  Could anyone help?

Map loadouts and impulse 101 (I assume it's what you used) just gives you the weapons released. Moonraker and D5k arent released yet. Unless you know your way in the source modifications, you'd better forget the idea to play with them. Have a look inside /scripts/

I used the command to add the weapon individually but i keep getting an unknown entity type whenever I add the weapon_moonraker using the command "give [weapon name]".  Is there something else I need to do like try to decrypt the .ctx files?

how you do that?

I tryed typing give weapon_moonraker and it didn't work :S
