I just think anything with less content then what we are currently offered will be, well, rather boring.

but i play a little more then that so Im just a little worried that it will get repetitive

Devs are creating the game in their spare time, for free. They announce a release close to the alpha, bug free, with motion blur and all the other goodies valve gave with the new SDK, and you're not happy? Well, feel free to show us your dev skills, and to spend time in the project.

Bond definitely looks nicer. I'm not an expert in the topic, and I still think there's something wrong with him. But you know what? As a "Custom Bond", he's awesome. However, if your goal was to try and look more like Pierce than your previous model (which I don't think you are), then I'd say you haven't done well there. I think he needs to look a little more like Pierce, but meh.

Well... it's more or less what I think. However, the skin is very well done, if John's aim wasn't to be very close to Pierce.

I don't know about you Doc, but I want to play the game before I get married and have kids. It's not that I'm "not happy" with the upcoming release...it's just that personally, Im starting to get older and my video game time is really starting to fade quickly...(so you understand me - im afraid i wont be around when everything starts to get completed.) This is the reason for my concern.

And what happens when the next engine comes out? Start over again?

Considering the fact that I run servers just like you do...I already spend a lot of time with this game/project.

Also, off topic for a second, Audix, do you know how I could improve my percussion? It's not bad persai, it's just... the Snare Drums I have suck. And I'm not too sure what to do. That snare at 0:26, while artificial, still sounded good. The thing I need though is a real snare drum sound to be honest.

I'm pretty happy to see a new release coming in, especially with all the work done in the background (recoding).

I don't want to tell how the mod releases should be, but I personally think the frequent but small releases from the Fistful of Frags team are just enough to keep the players into the game while not giving an impression that the developers are procrastinating between the lengthy release (I'm NOT telling you are procrastinating, but it's sad to be left without news for a while).

You have to click the little button that says save a copy in my outbox. I made the same mistake and sent one of the devs several (or two) duplicate PMs because of it.

I just pooped my pants and ejaculated at the same time. This is exactly what this mod needs, and the community is taking it pretty well. Along promises of monthly updates (I'm holding you to that one), the new engine will prevent much difficulty in the future. Sucks that you have to re-add everything, but on the other hand it's like doublechecking all the content. I'm probably not going to be able to play the first release as I'll be traveling this summer but rest assured I'll be returning to kick all your asses in due time.

Also, since content has to all be recompiled and stuff, do you guys plan on working on fresh maps first to give us some original content. I mean, I'm sure we can manage without backside, if it means we get to play BUNKER. Or are you guys trying to release the Beta 1 maps?

p.s. I demand my Helicopter Pilot.

Sorry to burst your bubble buddy, but we are approaching a month without a single blog or any news whatsoever. Not really sure what is going on and I am curious if these "monthly installments" will actually happen or not.

yeah..I saw that..but I was hoping to hear a programming update from Anthony Kind of curious to hear what is going on since the code for the last version (I think) was the biggest issue with it. Hitbox registration pretty much stopped me from playing the game. Thats why I am so interested in the programming aspect.
