Hmmm... If Crysis use DirectX 10, it need last microsoft's shit: vista, wich easily add $100.

well, GES runs fine on my current PC, so there would be no need for a new one.

But the point is if you had no PC then you'd need to buy/build one, so therefore, it would not be crazy to buy a PC that can handle upcoming games, since that's what you'll primarily be doing, presumably.  I didn't spend more than $500 on mine almost 20 months ago and I can run Crysis on high settings (in dx9) immaculately.  It doesn't look much better than Far Cry on dx9 so I don't quite understand the point of their $900 argument ending with M$ XP...
