Let me put it this way VogonFord, the GE guns are exactly that, GE guns. They don't need to look or even function like real world counterparts and they probably won't.

I love the sniper model, more than any real-life counterpart.

for the record this model does have a folding stock, its just not on the model in that picture.

As for real world reference, its a KF7. It was based off of the AKS-74 which was what baron decided was the closest real world model. Any tweaking / missing parts is largely in part to the fact that we're trying to keep the models within a certian poly count, and if its not essential, its expendable.

There are more than a few AK replacements with the utmost accuracy already out there, and you can head over to CDG and hack any model you want instead of this one. The model baron made is great imo and delivers a true GE feel ingame.
