Damn you guys are prudes.  As a guy, I enjoy watching bouncing breasts, as do most normal guys.  Sex should definitely be in videogames as long as its done well.  Every play Max Payne 2? There is a couple sexual scenes, complete with audio.  And it really added to the ambience/story.

All guys are interested in sex, except maybe oboe, heh, and its a part of life, leaving it out of mature video games is stupid.  Ever wonder why sex is in movies so much? Cause people want to see it.

I never said bouncing breasts make me sick, I just don't think it's appropriate for children. There's a time and a place for everything. And to the remark that I don't like sex, I have procreated twice, before I was 20 years of age.

There doesn't need to be sexual innuendo in games or movies, do you think a game like DOA:Beach Volley Ball was bought because of the intense volley ball game play, or because it had chicks with bouncing tits?

Why buy a video game that's all about sex, when buying pornography is so much easier? Why invite your friends over to a game where it's all about sex? You want to coordinate a circle jerk around your television?
Video games don't have to be violent or sexual to be fun. Don't push your perversions on me. If I want to have 'sexy time' I'll invite a woman over, I don't need to stare at tits on a screen to get my jollies (unless it's laughing at said tits I.E. Gardeboobs). If I'm too lazy to actually have sex with her, I'll just watch her strip.
I mean, sex in movies and video games, is just pointless. Why look at some bodies obviously photoshopped body when you (should) have a real woman right next to you, who's actually interested in you, as opposed to some whore getting naked for money. It doesn't make sense.

Anyway, Viashino, I thank you for teh linx.

fonfa:
i liked the max payne 2 sex content.
but i'm 100% sure this kind of character is made by sexually immature people

no wonder girls are not really into videogames

i'm not against sex or violence in games or in any kind of entertainment
but i just think people overuse them to make up for incompetence in making a fun game/movie
and it can be really embarassing sometimes. i'd never play doa:beach volleyball

Brilliant!
That's another aspect I didn't touch on, the fact that some games are there just for the pornography and the violence. 'Who cares, it's got tits in it!'
But I suppose it really isn't that big of a problem, most of the top selling games (from what I understand) don't feature over sexual themes, violence is still there though, and call me a bastard but violence isn't as bad.
Look at the success of Half-life 2, sure it's got Alyx Vance, but if you compare her to Fonfa's screenie, it's quite clear that she is not made to be a sexual object. Of course there are how many 'alycks newd m0dz?'

I will admit that there is an audience for it, but those people are generally retarded.

Konrad Beerbaum:
Lets ignore the 'won't someone think of the children' argument for the time being, and focus on videogames for adults (the average gamer is 30).  Not saying you are endorsing that that, but lets focus the discussion.

I think you are forgetting that video games and movies are intended to entertain people.  What entertains a person is up to that individual.

Why does it matter that people bought Beach Volleyball to watch bouncing boobs instead of a love of volleyball.  It entertained people, and they chose to buy it.

Yes, there does need to be sexual content and violence in videogames, if those factors entertain people, and they are buying a game to be entertained.  You and I have the freedom to buy what ever type of entertainment we want.  No one is forcing you to buy Beach Volleyball.  But apparently there is enough people who enjoy playing a game like that for it to be successfull.

Sex and violence are natural tendencies.  How each person chooses to indulge those tendencies is their own business (as long as it doesn't directly hurt others). Though I never played Beach Volleyball (saw a youtube video of it), I have no problem with those who did, and enjoyed it.  They can play whatever they want.  The only people I have a problem with are those who try to restrict how others enjoy entertainment.

The thing I think I find the most laughable is the fact that sex is seen as worse than violence.  Violence is a much more harmful idea than sex is.  It seems to tie into the religious background of the US, because it is not nearly as restricted in many other countries.

You're getting back into the child's part with that, I don't detest violence as much, because you see violence on the play ground.

Depictions of unrealistic women as being sexy, is offensive.
Whether they be fat-tarded or anorexic.

I'd also like to say, is Art supposed to be entertainment?
Do people sit down on the couch and switch off their brains to art?
I thought that art is supposed to inspire people.
If video games are entertainment, then they clearly are not art.

A video game needs to be created with the idea to inspire people to think, to feel, to question. Just like a painting, a book, or a song should. Not to entertain.

Pornography (literally the writing about whores) has it's fingers in videogames, and I personally would like them removed.
