His legacy of awesome sound design will live on, he made the rolling explosion sound effects for GES, arguably one of the most important/iconic sounds and one that was really difficult to make.

This is pretty sad. I was just remarking to Mangley who broke this to me, how he would send me messages on steam like once a month even after he couldn't devote time to GE:S. He would tell me about something he was doing and muse about ways he and I could tweak any sounds in the future with new methods and out-of-the box thinking to create a premium nostalgia.

Sorely missed he will be by the modding community.

My only interaction with him was often when starting my DooM launcher, he would message me and we'd talk iD for a while, but I'm still going to miss that, and of course his talent.

One should read this, and the threads should probably be merged.

If you do have something substantially more than "rip wow this is shocking" comments to say, feel free to head to that thread after this one. But read the thread before posting..your words may end up being in a letter to his parents. Be respectful above reproach.

They both have seperate purposes. They stay.

I seriously can't believe he's gone. I talked to him quite a bit in the past few months, mostly about Doom-related stuff. He was really into Brutal Doom and I think was helping out with it, among other projects. It's such a shame he had to pass at a young age. Too soon...
